| Um. I abandoned Xanga for an entire year.

| so here it is. a real update.
i have never experienced a more hectic semester than
the previous. 18 hours of demanding classes ...in all of which i
was determined to make a's. which i did. but not without stressing
myself out, worsening my headaches, and losing all patience. and
i am not really sure if it was worth it. but so be it. i have planned
next semester a little more wisely. despite it all, i have somehow
managed to keep my boyfriend around. 
for those of you who don't know, and i doubt there
are many, the dorms were driving me absolutely nuts. so, with a little
strategy, and a little truth, i am now living in a one-person apt. at
the same price of the dorms. i feel no guilt that baylor has to
compensate for the extra money since they gave me the hardest time of
getting out of my lease that shouldn't be there in the first place. 
so here i am on christmas break. in mexico. where
the only snow you see is in the display windows at the mall. where it
is considered normal to go swimming in your backyard christmas day.  where 'feliz navidad' is the official christmas anthem. and where i have the time (and desire) to update my xanga.
p.s. so i was at barnes and noble. and they have all these classic
books, such as 'the scarlet letter,' 'little women,' made miniature
with pages that look like those from bibles (gold edged)...so, you
know, the reason they were there is because they were condensed and
looked nice to collect. well....this lady and her daughter were
going through some of them when the mother got upset. "man, why did
they have to pick books i have already read?" sigh.
